Philippines Escapes & Hideaways

Oasis Resort

A lot of effort has been put into creating a natural looking environment that enhances that peaceful tropical holiday feeling. The garden around the swimming pool is teeming with flowers and there a variety of trees to provide shade during the hottest hours of the day.

From the garden area, follow a pathway to a flight of stairs that leads to the beach. Here the resort has more rooms, a beach bar and a restaurant with lounge couches. Chaise-longs and parasols are provided during the day and in the evening dining tables are placed on the beach.

The resort is built on a spacious 5000m2 lot and has slowly and carefully been built up to as you see it today. All in all there are 27 rooms at this time, 16 rooms housed in 8 spacious two duplex (two under one roof) cottages, 5 two-story rooms at the beach side, 4 beautiful Super Deluxe rooms and 1 Suite. All buildings are constructed using native and natural materials. The roofs are made of what the locals call: ‘Nipa’ . This is the leave of fresh water palm that grows only in certain areas in Bohol. Furthermore the resort used lots of bamboo and wood to give the resort an overall natural look.

All rooms in the resort are equipped with fan, air-conditioned, and a safety deposit box. NOT all rooms are equipped with TV (please check if you required this for during your stay). Then again there is WiFi available throughout the resort premises

The restaurant, again made out of native materials, seats up to 30 people and opens up on 3 sides, so from anywhere inside you have a great view of the pool and gardens, it serves a mix of Filipino and western food, and as the resort is close to the sea, each meal comes with a wide choice of seafoods! The restaurant serves Ala Carte, but for groups from 4 - up, they can serve buffet style meals as well. The Oasis bar, serves a variety of delicious cocktails and fresh fruit shakes!

In Bohol, kayaking, motor bike tours, repelling, zip lines, buggy driving, dolphin watching, paintball, spelunking and hiking are just some of the activities on offer.
