A perfect exotic combination: first, tiny Flower Island; exclusive, relaxing, charming… a little Eden in Taytay Bay. Then El Nido Bay, a mini tropical Halong Bay, preciously preserved, with the resort of your choice both with soothing comfort and customised service.
Sample Itinerary (7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS):
Day 1: Fly from Manila to El Nido. On arrival, set off by private 4WD minivan for a 2 hour drive from west to east across the northern tip of Palawan, following a dirt road that passes through lush jungle and exotic plantations. Arrive at the jetty and board a boat for the 45 minute crossing to Flower Island. Settle into your beachfront bungalow. Lunch, free time to relax and enjoy the white sand beach, dinner and overnight Flower Island.
Days 2 & 3: Full board Flower Island. A visit to a nearby pearl farm can be arranged. Snorkelling, island hopping, kayaking, walking around the island, badminton; etc… are also possible.
Day 4: Breakfast Flower Island. Transfer back to Taytay and drive back to El Nido. On arrival, transfer by boat to your choice of either Miniloc or Lagen Island, set in the middle of the stunning El Nido Bay, characterised by its dramatic karst limestone islets. Lunch, free time to relax, dinner and overnight the resort.
Days 5 & 6: Full board at Miniloc Island Resort for the more active, or at Lagen Island Resort for luxury. Enjoy all-inclusive scheduled activities on site.
Day 7: Breakfast at the resort. Transfer back to El Nido airport for the flight back to Manila by small private airplane.

Flower Island is a beautiful tropical islet in Northern Palawan, Philippines, with a wide white powdery sand beach, dotted with many coconut trees and other colourful plants from the Pacific. The warm, crystal-clear waters are amongst the most fish-abundant of the archipelago, and the sunsets from the beach are exceptional.
The simple and natural resort comprises just 6 spacious bungalows, all built from local and materials, each with a large private terrace fronting the beach. Rooms are naturally airy but are also aquipped with fans (no Aircon required here). The private shower-bathrooms feed ambient temperature fresh water.
Additionally, at one end of the beach, a 2-storey villa with 4 air-conditioned rooms can be rented separately, or as a whole for families or groups of friends.
Activities: although primarily a getaway for putting your feet up in a beautiful, natural environment, Flower Island also offers a range of possibilities for the more active. A pathway circumnavigates the island - a 20 minute, scenic walk; beach kayaks or local paddle boats are available to explore the surrounding islands. A visit to the nearby pearl farm can be arranged free-of-charge, and those who wish to can hire motorised boats for a minimal cost to go island hopping or fishing.
On the beach, volleyball, badminton and French "petanque" are available any time.

Accommodation
El Nido Resorts' Lagen Island Resort is a tropical hideaway set in a cove and fringed by a thick primary forest. The most luxurious resort in the area, Lagen has been awarded numerous awards and in 2006 made it to the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Green List 2006, chosen for their environmental preservation efforts, involvement with local communities and the quality of guest experience.
Lagen is a local Cuyunin word for “stone stove" and the island was named as such because, to the locals, its shape resembles a primitive stove with funnels.
Lagen Island Resort has a total of 51 rooms with a variety of accommodation types: 18 Water Cottages built on stilt, 9 beachfront cottages with a perfect view of the entire cove, 20 Forest Rooms, and 4 forest suites built on the fringes of a tropical forest. All rooms have floors made of antique woods and furnishings made of old wood from old houses. Each cottage and room also has a fullheight sliding glass doors that open up to a private verandah, and depending on the room, affords guests with views of the cove, the cliffs, the bay or the sunset.

The restaurant serves a selection of fresh seafood and a variety of local and international cuisine. The restaurant is divided into two sections: the airconditioned main dining area and the al fresco dining area.

Right in front of the clubhouse is the 12 x 25 meter swimming pool, built at an even level of 4 feet so as not to disturb the underlying root structures. Cushioned lounge chairs surround the pool while the nearby pool bar serves a selection of cold drinks, wines and spirits.

Entertainment : El Nido Resorts takes pride in its very own cultural show which features the traditional Filipino dances and songs. The show is participated no other than by the resort's very own staff.
Fire warning system : The resort is equipped with manual fire alarms (break glass, push button). Each bedroom is also equipped with smoke detectors.
Miniloc Island is set in a cove with a backdrop of sheer limestone cliffs. It has crystal clear water teeming with different kinds of tropical fishes. At the end of the pier, guests can snorkel alongside 3-foot long groupers and hundreds of sergeant majors, damsel fish, fusiliers, and other multi-colored tropical fishes.

Miniloc Island, with a total land area of 224 hectares, is one of the largest islands in the El Nido Protected Area. Fringing the island are coral reefs that are good for snorkeling and diving. It is most famous for its lagoon - the most popular of which are the Big and Small Lagoons - which make an ideal site for kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling.

Miniloc Island Resort has a total of 43 native-style cottages and rooms, all built from local materials. There are six accommodation styles to choose from: 7 Water Cottages and 5 Seaview Rooms built on stilts, 12 Garden Cottages and 4 Family Cottages surrounded by tropical plants, 3 Cliff Cottages nestled high in the hillside and 12 Beachside Rooms. All cottages and rooms are built facing the sea and have private verandahs that offer views of the cove and the nearby islands.
The local flavor extends to the interior of the cottages and rooms from the wooden floors and walls made of woven bamboo slats (locally called sawali) to furniture hand-made from natural materials such as bamboo and rattan.
