Black Sand Dive Retreat is a small 6-bungalow, quality dive resort located on a sheltered bay in a natural setting on Lembeh Strait, Indonesia's Exotic Critter Capital.

Located in Kambahu Bay, the resort is perfectly located right in the middle of some of Lembeh's best dives sites, most of which are within five minutes by speedboat. Directly off the fine black sand beach lies the exceptional House Reef, offering calm and current-free conditions so that dedicated critter hunters and shutterbugs can have fantastic dives at whatever time they choose. Because of a lack of currents, it can be dived at any time, day or night and it is at night that it is especially incredible.

Also close by are other established dive sites including Hairball 3, TK1 and TK2. With two paid boat dives daily, guests can take a tank and have a free self-guided House Reef dive while guests on 3-dive per day packages have unlimited access.

ACCOMMODATION:
Each coconut-wood bungalow offers wondrous views over Kambahu Bay and Lembeh Strait. The bedroom is equipped with both a ceiling fan and a/c for your comfort, with complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea close at hand. Each unit also has a walk-in closet to keep your bags and belongings organized and out of the way as well as a walled open-air “Bali-style” garden bathroom with a hot water shower to help reheat you after long repetitive dives.

FACILITIES:
The resort has equipment cubicles for guest equipment to drip dry in the breeze between dives and provide space for easy suiting up. Within meters are showers as well as rinse tanks for washing both diving equipment and for soaking underwater camera gear.

There is a dedicated camera room that is mosquito-screened and fan-cooled, offering two heights of camera stations, each with outlets for charging both 220V and 110V.

The resort's two compressors and Nitrox blending system have their own room, there is a WC for guests, a rental equipment room, and a briefing center, covering all your diving requirements.

There's also a reference library/TV room where guests can learn more about what they are seeing on their dives, view and share their underwater video footage or just watch satellite television. 

Meals are prepared and served in the Main Building where guests can enjoy their meal with panoramic views out over Lembeh Strait. The wifi signal is strongest in the Main Building, so guests are encouraged to lounge on sofas, drink, connect, exchange fish stories and be merry.

Guests can enjoy current-free swimming and snorkelling in a sheltered environment from the resort's sandy beach.

Child Policy:
- Under 6 years old = FREE of charge if sharing bedding with parents

Transfers - EUR €30 per person for round trip transfers from and to the airport or Manado for a minimum of 2 people traveling together. For single guest, a surcharge of EUR €7 will be applied on checking out. There is no transfer charge for infants and children 6-12 years old will be charged at EUR €20 per person.
