Thailand Escapes & Hideaways
Chaing Rai, Thailand
Lanjia, or 'peaceful' in Hmong language, is an eco-friendly community-based lodge nestled on a hill overlooking the Mekong River and Laos. It is set in harmony with a lush green environment within a Hmong and Lahu village in northern Thailand's Chiang Rai province.
The hosts at Lanjia Lodge are the proud Hmong and Lahu villagers who will take care of visitors and all activities in the lodge during their stay. Contributions from your stay will be used on community projects that will improve the local hilltribe people’s living conditions.
A multitude of packages are available, offering an insight into the culture of Hmong and Lahu tribal people and can include trekking tours, a ride on the mighty Mekong River or a visit to the close-by Golden Triangle.
Stay packages include accommodation in comfortable King-size or twin bedded rooms with en-suite bathrooms (where applicable), electric fans (non air-conditioned), meals as specified in the programmes, coffee, tea and water with meals, as well as English speaking Tour Guide / Activity Guide.
