The Chang Heritage Hotel is a new addition to the ranks of beautiful, traditional Lao style, boutique hotels in Luang Prabang. Newly constructed but using age old “Fa Tok See” building methods, the Chang is located on the peninsular diving the Mekong and Nam Kham Rivers, commands spectacular views, is set in a stunning garden and courtyard surroundings, yet is only a short stroll to Luang Prabang's renowned World Heritage listed sights.

Accomodation

The 12 rooms of the Chang are traditionally Lao themed yet subtly maintain the highest of western standards. They come in three styles: Deluxe, Deluxe River View and Premier River View. All feature air conditioning, TV with stereo DVD, dressing table, fridge and en suite bathrooms with "rain" showers. In addition, the Premier River View room have private balconies with views over the Kham River.

To add to the sense timeless history, the Chang offers guests airport transfers in a classic 1970 Mercedes Benz.

Services include a welcome drink when you arrive, breakfast, and a set of wooden utensil for Buddhist alms giving. Free wireless internet access allows you to stay in touch with the outside world.
