The Villa Santi Hotel was established in 1992 by Lao businessman Mr. Santi Inthavong in a royal residence belonging to his wife, a royal princess of Luang Prabang. The century old mansion was renovated and equipped with up to date facilities.

The hotel was first operated as a family business with 11 rooms and a restaurant. In November 1994, 14 rooms were added, making the property one of the most famous sites of Luang Prabang, which was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.

The Villa Santi Hotel was renovated again in 2008 and facilities upgraded, adding 6 Executive Suites and improving others rooms to Deluxe standard.

The Villa Santi is located in the heart of Luang Prabang, a walking distance from most of the historical places of interest, including the former Royal Palace, the Sacred Mount Phousi, many ancient temples dating back to the 16th century and beyond, and the various handicraft markets.

All Deluxe Rooms are furnished with authentic Lao rosewood furnishings and genuine Lao silk textiles, and are complemented with individually controlled air conditioning, mini bar, writing desk with stationary, in-room safety box, bathtub with hot and cold shower, bathrobes and slippers.
