Choose where you sleep

  • Lagen Island Resort

The dive sites around El Nido's 2 resorts of Lagen and Miniloc range from gradual slopes to drop-offs, wall dives to reef flats. Visibility is generally good, with an average of 10 to 30 metres in the summer months of March until May.

Dive equipment available for rent at both Miniloc Island Resort and Lagen Island Resort include BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, weights, mask, fins and snorkels. Equipment rental is on a first come first serve basis.

Divers acclimatise in front of the Resort or in a suitable confined area. A dive master handles up to a maximum of six (6) divers at one time. Additional safety dive guides are assigned to bigger groups and novice divers. The dive master controls all dives. Night diving can be arranged. Cave diving, however is not allowed. All dives are Non-decompression dives.

Divers must bring their C-card, logbook or proof of certification to dive. The resorts strictly follow a “no c-card, no dive” policy unless undertaking an Open Water dive course.

The following dive courses are offered at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island and Miniloc Island: Open Water, Advanced and Rescue Diving. Dive courses must be pre-arranged and require at least five days to complete.
